Every kid should end his high school running career like Tyler Anyan did.
But every kid is clearly not like Tyler Anyan.
The Georgetown-bound senior from Snellville, Ga., claimed a decisive win in the boys mile in the inaugural Nike Track Nationals on Friday night at Hayward Field, busting out a savage kick to outrun Blake Ahrold (Dana Hills, Calif.) and Elias Gedyon (Los Angeles) down the final straight in front of a roaring crowd in Eugene.
